Some of outlying villages have already formed action groups, so if any of these are closer to you then get in touch with these as we are all working for the same cause.

Kent County Council & Their Current Position
On 27 April 2013 Kent County Council submitted its response to the Airport Commission's Consultation on Long Term Proposals. The principal aim of the KCC response was to object to a Thame Estuary airport. However, in its submission it clearly states its preference for an additional runway at Gatwick over Heathrow.
To express your disappointment with your local representatives, email the Kent County Council leader, Paul Carter ([email protected]) and tell him that KCC is not representing the interests of the very many residents of Kent who suffer the nuisance of Gatwick over-flying and KCC must immediately:
1.retract its support for Gatwick expansion;
2.actively oppose Gatwick expansion; and
3.clarify this position with the Airports Commission as a matter of urgency.
Could the changes take effect this year?
Yes - some:
"… while the main change for Phase 1 would not be implemented before 2015 we do not rule out bringing some small elements of Phase 1 forward to 2014 if they will present sufficient benefit and if the full process can be completed for them in advance of the main change
…"
(London Airspace Consultation Executive Summary)
What previous Consultation?
Quite. It's simply that virtually no-one had heard of it. If you would specifically like to complain about the lack of awareness surrounding the previous Consultation email the CAA as follows. They have to log it: [email protected]
